Welcome to our first annual survey of suppliers of agricultural and food products into the retail and wholesale market.

An Rialálaí Agraibhia (Agri-Food Regulator) was established under the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain Act 2023 to promote fairness and transparency in the agricultural and food supply chain.

The Agri-Food Regulator is conducting this survey to gather feedback from suppliers of agricultural and food products on their experience of trading with specific buyers in the retail and wholesale sectors. Your views are very important so please give an honest and frank assessment on the last 12-month period. This feedback will help provide insights into trading practices in the agricultural and food supply chain.

This survey is anonymous and confidential. Your buyer(s) will never be made aware that you have completed this survey nor will any comment you make in this survey be made known to your buyer(s).

The survey will be conducted independently by Coyne Research (survey platform) and all the information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence. All answers will be collated and analysed by Coyne Research. You may receive this survey from a number of the retailers/wholesalers you supply. Please note you should complete this survey only once for your business.

The survey will allow you to provide detail on your experiences with supplying agricultural and food products to the following businesses (where relevant):

It should take you about 10 - 15 minutes to respond to the survey questions. Please note, if you need to leave the survey before finishing it and would like to return, you can pick up from where you left off by clicking on the original link again on the same browser/device.

The findings of this survey are intended to be published in early summer 2025. The survey closes on the 9th of March 2025.
